VOF De Boompjes, a joint venture between AM Vastgoed, Johan Matser Projectontwikkeling and Bouwfonds Property Finance will start on May 15th with the redevelopment of the monumental building of the Dutch National Bank and the new development of offices and appartments at De Boompjes in Rotterdam.
The project will start with the construction of the office-tower and a four stories tall carpark that will fit 650 cars. The 75 meter high office tower is built for tennant Ernst & Young and consists of 19.500m2 in 20 stories. Next to this development VOF De Boompjes will develop an equally high appartment building with 37 appartments, on top of the bank building.
The design is by American architects Philip Johnson/Alan Ritchie, in cooperation with 01-10 Architects. Total investment is some 118 million Euro.
