Redevco buys Dutch portfolio from German Management Company

Redevco Netherlands has bought the Dutch real estate of German capital management company IBI Real Estate. The portfolio contains three stores, three office buildings, an industrial hall and a multiplex cinema. The transaction is worth € 60 mln.

It concerns office buildings in amongst others The Hague and Leusden, retail objects in Rotterdam, Assen and Purmerend and a multiplex cinema in Enschede; Wolff exploits the latter. The acquisition of the IBI-portfolio increases Redevco Netherlands’ portfolio to € 465 mln. and also results in a better spread over the several real estate sectors.

Last year Evia Real Estate announced that they had taken over the Dutch portfolio of IBI Real Estate for a value of approx. € 81 mln. But according to André van den Berg, managing director Redevco Netherlands, Evia wasn’t able to take over the objects. Redevco won’t give any indications regarding rents of initial result. CIMA-groep mediated the transaction. Boer Hartog Hooft and Fortrus (technical aspects) advised Redevco Netherlands.
