Panattoni sold distribution centre in Teresin (PL)

Panattoni has sold a distribution centre developed for the use of Orbico Supply. The 37,000m2 centre was acquired by a global specialist in real estate investment.

The BTS centre in Teresin (Mazovia region) plays a key role in the operations of Orbico Supply, a company active across 20 countries and the largest distributor of cosmetics, beauty products, clothing and FMCG in Europe. The distributor holds a long-term lease, which guarantees the stability and security of the investment for the new owner of the centre.

The sale of the centre in Teresin is yet another significant transaction to have been finalised by Panattoni this year. This not only demonstrates the continuously rising demand of foreign capital for Polish assets but also how attractive our investment projects are since they meet the highest standards in the market required by international investors,” – said Michal Stanislawski, the Head of Asset Dispositions at Panattoni.

The centre developed for Orbico Supply is equipped with a shuttle racking system as well as AGVs (Automated Guided Vehicle). The tenant also has a VAS (Value-Added Services) area and over 1,000m2 of modern offices. The centre massively benefits from its excellent location, being situated near key communication routes that guarantee easy access to both national and international markets. It takes just 45 minutes to reach the centre of Warsaw and an hour to drive to Lodz. Silesia, one of the country’s largest industrial centres, lies within a three-hour drive. Such a location makes this distribution centre an ideal logistics hub that is even more attractive due to its easy access to qualified labour with around 150,000 people living within a 15-minute drive of the centre.
