Panattoni completed BTS development in Swidnik for TRILUX (PL)

Panattoni has completed a BTS development for an international client. A new factory was built in Swidnik for TRILUX. The 23,000m2 plant is the company’s first manufacturing facility in Poland. It also marks a major step in the company’s expansion into Central and Eastern Europe.

For us, working with TRILUX is a great honour and proves that we are the first-choice partner for international industry leaders. Poland has become a key industrial hub and our BTS projects provide the ideal solution for companies looking for high quality manufacturing space that will enable them to grow their businesses and innovate,” said Marek Forynski, the BTS Managing Director at Panattoni.

For its new factory, TRILUX has turned to the latest manufacturing technology to ensure the highest quality and efficiency. With its in-house metal and plastics processing, a new state-of-the-art powder coating plant and flexible assembly stations, the company can quickly meet individual customer orders.

This is a quintessential BTS project with complicated site preparation, construction work completed in barely seven months, the production hall tailored to the needs of an advanced manufacturing process and office space of the highest standard similar to the latest office buildings built in Warsaw,” added Maciej Zawada, the BTS Development Director at Panattoni.

The ‘New Work’ concept. The office space at the TRILUX factory in Swidnik has been designed to provide comfortable, modern working conditions. Spanning more than 3,000m2, it includes offices, conference rooms, rest areas and focus rooms that allow for creativity and small group work. The entire area has been fitted out with comfortable furniture, TRILUX’s intelligent human-centric lighting (HCL) and a colour scheme to improve productivity as well as workers’ sense of well-being. Additionally, a stylish canteen provides a place for relaxation and social interaction.

Strategic location. TRILUX chose Poland for its third European factory because of the country’s strategic location, its low costs, its highly-qualified labour pool, and its business friendly conditions. The local economy is also to benefit from this investment. The new factory has already created 80 new jobs and will eventually employ 250 people who will learn new skills in a rapidly rising industry.
