NEINVER, the second-largest operator of outlet centers in Europe, has announced the Company’s future projects at MAPIC. The expansion in the European outlet sector includes: Amsterdam The Style Outlets, Werl The Style Outlets, Viledecans The Style Outlets, Algarve The Style Outlets. The four pipeline outlet centers will add 86,000 m² of GLA to the 311,600 m² of GLA already managed by the Group in this sector across Europe.
NEINVER is expanding its activity into the Group’s seventh country: The Netherlands. In this regard, NEINVER and MAB plan to co-develop Amsterdam The Style Outlets. This future center will contain retail space totaling 18,000 m² of GLA with 100 stores, plus a 1,000 m² leisure area with restaurants and services.
Additionally, the Group plans to develop a new center in Werl, in the North Rhine-Westphalia region of Germany. With MAB as co-developer, Werl The Style Outlets will feature 17,000 m² of GLA, 100 stores and 1,300 parking spaces. The project has a catchment area of 18 million people and potential customers within a 90-minute drive.
In Spain, where the Group already leads the outlet sector, NEINVER will develop its first outlet center in the Catalonia region, Viladecans The Style Outlets. This project will house 26,500 m² of GLA, 135 units and 1,400 parking spaces.
The fourth new center is Algarve The Style Outlets in Portugal. This is the strongest retail project in the whole Algarve region. It will have 23,500 m² of GLA, 120 stores and 1,200 parking spaces. Algarve The Style Outlets is NEINVER’s second development in Portugal after Vila do Conde The Style Outlets, in the Oporto region, which opened in 2004.
