On Tuesday 28 October 2003 the Managing Director of Rodamco Europe in the Netherlands, mr. Henk W. Postma (1955), died from an incurable disease.
Determining role
From September 2000 Henk Postma has played a determining role in the development of the organisation, Thanks to his leadership and commercial alertness Rodamco Europe in the Netherlands has developed into one of the most important players in the real estate market.
Highlights
A few of the highlights which came about under the leadership of Henk Postma:
- Integration of Rodamco Winkels B.V. and Rodamco Retail Netherlands N.V.
- The sale of several offices on behalf of the strategy for a total amount of â⬠360 mln.
- Closing the transaction of â⬠225 mln. between MAB/Blauwhoed and Rodamco Europe regarding the new shopping heart of Almere-Stad.
Crown on his work
The prestigious award ââ¬ËDe Gouden Baksteenââ¬â¢ (The Golden Brick), for the investor of the year 2003 was awarded to Rodamco Europe. This award was most of all awarded for the Dutch activities of Rodamco Europe. The Dutch real estate investors wanted to decorate Henk Postma and his team for their special efforts.
Extraordinary person
Henk Postma was an extraordinary person. His charisma, indestructible energy, professionalism, his fluency and humour will not be forgotten.
