Magna Plaza shopping centre has been sold to foreign investors (NL)

Magna Plaza, the shopping centre behind the Royal Palace at DAM Square in Amsterdam, has been sold to a consortium of institutional investors from Europe and Israel. Sellers are a group from AIB investors and Breevast. It is said that the purchase price is slightly above €63.5m.

 

The shopping centre has a retail surface of 5,589m² consisting of basement, ground floor, 1th and 2th floor. The top floor has 1,420m² of office space. The estimated rental value of Magna Plaza is approx. €3.5m p/a.

 

Magna Plaza is situated at the Spuistraat 137/ 139, on the corner of the NieuweZijds Voorburgwal 182 on completely freehold land, and next to the new W Hotel. The sellers have recently renovated the whole façade and restructured the central entrance. The shopping centre currently has 38 tenants, amongst others Sissy Boy/ Men at Work, Swarovski, Armani, Van Dalen Shoes, Marlboro and Lacoste.
