Commerz Grundbesitz-Investmentgesellschaft mbH (CGI) decided that Leo Lousberg (55) will reinforce the Management. He is intended to join the board no later than the beginning of October 2005. At the same time, the Supervisory Board named Dr. Frank Pörschke (40) Spokesman of the Management.
Among Lousberg's tasks count specifically the acquisition and sale of real estate worldwide for the retail funds managed by CGI.
A native of Maastricht, Lousberg started out by obtaining a degree in urban planning and construction industry in Amsterdam. His professional career began with the Dutch project developer, Westland Utrecht.
As Director for Portfolio Management he was later in charge for the acquisition and management of international real estate for the quoted real estate company, VIB NV.
Since 1995, Lousberg was active for the special real estate provider, Oppenheim Immobilien Kapitalanlagegesellschaft, setting up and managing that company's acquisitions and sales abroad.
In this context, he also served as Managing Director of Oppenheim Property Services BV.
