According to the German Immobilien Zeitung rumor has it that the French bank BNP Paribas is in advanced negotiations with the French-German realtor-chain Atis Real for a take-over.
The French Atis Real, the market leader in France and Germany through real estate advisors Atis Auguste-Thouard and Atis Real Müller International, is also active in the Dutch market since September of this year with Atis Real Netherlands.
The French group Vemdôme Rome owns Atis Real for 69.5 % and has developed in the past five years into an important player on the European real estate advice-market. Crédit Lyonnais Private Equity owns 25% of the company and the remaining 5.5% is owned by the employees of Atis Real. In France and Germany Atis Real is the number one player and also in the United Kingdom it holds a strong position with Atis Real Weatheralls. The organization is present in the Spanish and Belgian market as Atis Real Aguste-Thouard.
BNP Paribas is the largest bank in the Eurozone with 85.000 employees of which 65.000 work in Europe.
