Henderson Global Investors has announced the appointment of Mitesh Sheth to the role of investment director. Mr Sheth joins Henderson from Watson Wyatt, where he was an investment consultant within the investment manager research team.
Mr Sheth will report to David Jacob, head of fixed income, and will focus on the further development of Henderson's Liability Driven Investment product range and participate directly in the on going strategic restructuring of Henderson's institutional asset management.

The future of the institutional business is increasingly tied to understanding liabilities and efficient delivery of diversified sources of Alpha. With his actuarial background and his experience in consulting, Mitesh will play a key role in ensuring that HGI product offerings are leading edge," commented Mr. Jacob.
