Henry Boot announces that HBD, the group’s property investment and development arm, has completed a c. €17.6m GDV industrial & logistics unit at Airport Business Park Southend (ABPS), while also being granted planning permission to bring forward a further 6,968m2.
In April 2023, HBD agreed to develop a 13,007m2 unit for Ipeco Holdings. Practical completion was achieved in June 2024, and Ipeco has now occupied the building. This doubles their manufacturing space at ABPS in less than two years. HBD has also received planning permission for a further 6,968m2 across two units at ABPS. The site represents a c. €176m investment in best-in-class spaces and infrastructure, including ‘Launchpad’, an innovation facility hub spanning 3,254m2.
