The net sales of Grupo Dragados reached EUR 4,011 mln at the end of the first nine months of the year, indicating a growth of almost 11% with respect to the same period of 2001.
Aggregate billing reached 4,278 million euros by the end of September, which is an increase of 9.6%. By divisions, Services increased its billing by 17.3%, Industrial by 15.5% and construction by 6.7% whereas the billing by Concessions dropped 20% because the consolidated accounts no long include CODAD, the concessionaire of Eldorado Airport in Bogota, Colombia.
The net income at the end of the third quarter was more than 166 million euros. This is a decrease of 4.1% with respect to September 2001. The gross operating income (EBITDA) for the first nine months of the year was 271.8 million euros, showing a 9.9% drop.
Investments made between January and September, excluding the purchase of HBG, reached the amount of 412.3 million euros of which 46% was allocated to the Services Division and 29% to the Concessions Division.
