Goodman Group is continuing to expand its cooperation with medium-sized German businesses. The global integrated property group has finalised a lease agreement with logistics service provider B+S Logistik for a warehouse in Eppertshausen, Rhine-Main region, with an area of around 7,500 m².

Several companies are looking to expand, optimise or modernise their logistics and medium-sized companies are no exception. B+S Logistik, for example, has grown strongly in the Rhine-Main region in recent years. With the leasing of the property from Goodman, the logistics specialist now operates a total of seven sites in Germany with around 300 staff. The company is using the additional capacity to service its customer Nestlé.

The Goodman property has a clear hall height of 10 m and includes approximately 7,200 m² storage space as well as around 300 m² for offices and social areas. With a number of measures to save energy and consumption costs, such as increased insulation in the building envelope, the property has already received a silver certification from the German Sustainable Building Council (DGNB).

The location of Eppertshausen is within reach of the A3 – A5 motorway intersection. From the property, B+S Logistik can access major national and international traffic routes and quickly service the greater Frankfurt region. The location will enable to company to respond rapidly to surges in demand.

While Goodman has developed a reputation for developing and managing some of the largest logistics properties in Germany for customers like Amazon, DB Schenker and Zalando, the property group has provided companies, both large and small, with a range of smaller properties starting at 5,000 m².

“Given how quickly the market changes and the impact of digitalisation on supply chains, more companies are needing flexibility in their logistics network. The scale of our operations in Germany and around the world, means that Goodman is well positioned to help businesses realise new logistics strategies by offering property solutions that can be adapted to their needs,” explained Jordan Corynen, Goodman Regional Director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. “We currently have access to many sites on which properties can be developed starting from 5,000 m². As such, we are also specifically targeting medium-sized companies, which generally need solutions from the smaller and mid-sized range.”

Out of its offices in Dusseldorf and Hamburg, Goodman provides a wealth of region-specific knowledge to help customers find the best locations to achieve efficiency in their supply chains.
