GIEAG invests in German industrial estate

GIEAG has acquired a plot of land with an area of approximately 25,000m² in Kummersbruck in the metropolitan region of Nuremberg. The plot is located in the Grubenacker development area of the Theuern industrial estate, a district of the municipality of Kummersbruck. GIEAG is planning the construction of a modern and sustainable business park here.

"We are developing a business park that will conserve natural resources and comply with all aspects of sustainable construction and business", commented Philipp Pferschy, CEO of GIEAG. The business park will be built using a sustainable construction method. A green roof and a photovoltaic system are also planned. Operation will be independent of fossil fuels. Completion is scheduled for the end of 2024.

The new business park is aimed at medium-sized businesses in the region. It offers flexible floor areas from 1,250m², each equipped with dock levellers and level entrance gates. A total of circa 12,000m² of gross floor space is planned.
