Fortis Vastgoed Ontwikkeling and HBG Vastgoed are going to develop the area Noorderhelling in Rotterdam together. The development of the area, which is next to stadium De Kuip, covers about 75.000 mò and will be provided with a mobilitycenter with carshowrooms en servicecenters, largescale retailing and about 1500 parkingplaces. Construction is expected to start in 2005. The parties plan to open the center in 2007.
With the development the parties make use of the new European legislation which makes it possible to bring cardealers with several brands together under one roof. For the consumer it will become a marketplace where the latest trends and developments in the area of mobility can be found.
