NEINVER, a Spanish company specialised in property investment, development and management, Europe’s second-largest operator of outlet centres, has incorporated Fashion Outlet Halle Leipzig, the first outlet centre in central Germany, into its The Style Outlets portfolio. So from 1 October 2016, the centre will operate as Halle Leipzig The Style Outlets. NEINVER recently became the new centre’s sole tenant and operator, responsible for its management, leasing and marketing, and thus continues its expansion strategy to grow this outlet brand throughout Europe.
Halle Leipzig The Style Outlets is the second German centre operating under The Style Outlets brand, after Zweibrücken The Style Outlets, and joins the 10 existing centres that make up the platform.
"We are delighted that Fashion Outlet Halle Leipzig is becoming part of The Style Outlets. Our centres offer a new and unparalleled shopping experience in which all visitors can find what they are looking for: first-class stores, modern architecture, top brands at reduced prices, variety and service quality at the highest level," said Sebastian Sommer, Managing Director of NEINVER Germany.
To increase the centre’s appeal and enhance the shopping experience, NEINVER is implementing initiatives such as newly designed interior landscaping and improvement of the centre’s visibility and signage. Additional seating and a lounge area are currently being created. Moreover, new services are in place for shoppers’ convenience, such as new lockers and free wireless internet throughout the centre.
In addition to the current transition and optimisation of the centre under NEINVER’s international premium brand umbrella, Halle Leipzig The Style Outlets will add new brands to the current portfolio, which includes more than 60 fashion brands such as Nike, Jack Wolfskin, Desigual, Marc O’Polo, Gant and Daniel Hechter, to steadily improve the mix of stores. “We are very excited about the opening of new outlets such as Wellensteyn, Converse and Cinque. All three brands have an international reputation and increase the portfolio of Halle Leipzig The Style Outlets, helping make it an attractive shopping destination in central Germany,” says Ralf Steinebrunner, Retail Director of NEINVER.
Halle Leipzig The Style Outlets features 11,700m² GLA of retail space and has over 1,800 parking spaces. Currently, it employs around 240 people and, after the opening of the second phase, some 200 further jobs will be added. The second phase will also provide an additional 8,000m² of retail space, with room for about 40 more stores.
