The ENKA TC company, one of the leading developers on the Russian commercial real estate market, has appointed the JLL team as co-exclusive consultant on marketing and leasing the new shopping and entertainment centre on Kashirskoye highway, Moscow. This modern shopping mall with the total area of 195,500 m² is to open in the early 2018.
The shopping and entertainment centre will appear in place of Kapitoliy shopping centre, one of the debut projects of the ENKA TC company (former Ramenka) in Russia, i.e. the which worked successfully at this location during 15 years.
The new complex will contain retail galleries of famous world and Russian brands, a children’s cluster offering a full range of goods and services for children and their parents, an enlarged entertainment area, including the Kinomax multi-screen cinema featuring the largest IMAX in Russia, the World Class fitness club with its own terrace, a children’s entertainment centre as well as authors’ cuisine cafes and restaurants. The new shopping and entertainment centre with the GLA of 71,000 m² will accommodate about 200 shops. One of the anchor tenants will be the Auchan hypermarket. For the convenience of visitors, a three-level underground parking facility for 1,500 car spaces will be built.
A distinctive feature of this project will be a unique walkable roof where the recreational and sports areas will be implemented. An open-air cinema, restaurant verandas, a swimming pool, a tennis court, a basketball court, a skating-rink will be accommodated on the roof.
Thanks to its location in the red line of one of the main thoroughfares of Moscow, this shopping and entertainment centre will feature excellent transport accessibility while proximity to five underground stations (Domodedovskaya, Orekhovo, Ziablikovo, Krasnogvardeyskaya, Shipilovskaya) will provide easy access to pedestrians. The catchment area of this complex amounts to 2 million people.
Murat Duran, General Director of ENKA TC, says: “Our company implements each project with great responsibility because in our understanding, development consists not on of construction of a property but also of creation of comfortable living environment. That is why in our new project on Kashirskoye highway, we pay great attention to architecture and design solutions. We invest in creation of comfortable common areas meeting international standard and even go beyond the scope of a property as commonly understood by transforming the shopping centre roof into a cultural and recreational space for the entire neighbourhood, and the territory around it - into a promenade area with an apple tree garden. We believe that a project of this scale will become a centre of attraction for the entire south-eastern part of Moscow and will join the ranks of the most successful shopping and entertainment centres of Moscow.”
