The development of the new Grade A office building at 80 Fenchurch Street has commenced with the demolition of the current vacant building underway.
The demolition will take approx. six months with a projected practical completion date of Q1 2018. The 22,761 m² (245,000 ft²) office building will be 14 storeys high, with detailed interior design by TP Bennett Architects, including an impressive atrium that will provide natural light throughout. This unique building will be the only City property under construction to boast five large high-level landscaped terrace roof gardens, providing panoramic views of the cityscape.
The building is located on the eastern end of Fenchurch Street, between the City and Aldgate, and will suit a range of occupiers from financial and legal to media tenants, on a single or multi-let occupancy.
