CzechInvest has a new director for its Brussels office (CZ/BE)

CzechInvest's Brussels office will be headed by Ales Hala. He will be taking the place of Martin Cincura, who had held the post for three years. CzechInvest's Brussels office was opened in February 2001 and its director is responsible for the whole region of Benelux (Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxemburg).

"I think it's important to promote the Czech Republic also in the European Union as a country suitable for investments. Mainly Benelux provides a huge potential for business support services such as customers or repair centers or regional headquarters," said Ales Hala, the new director of CzechInvest's Brussels Office, and added: "I would like to focus on the traditional industrial sectors such as electronics, microelectronics, but also biotechnologies, which will strengthen its position in Europe."

28-year-old Ales Hala graduated from Masaryk University in Brno and joined CzechInvest's International Marketing Department in 2002. He was in charge of the electronics and microelectronics sector and communication with clients. He speaks English, German and French.
