Construction continues on Green2Day, Skanska’s newest office investment in Wroclaw. The building is already visible above ground as the company distributes new visualizations of the project.
The building will offer 17,000m² of modern office space as well as 232 parking places. It will comprise seven floors above ground and two below.
Specialists from Skanska completed the construction works on the underground parking lot and has launched the development of the building’s ground floor. The works are on schedule and the first reinforced-concrete columns, necessary for the development of the upper floors, are now visible. The building’s facade is also gradually taking shape as the architectural walls of its main entrance can also be seen.
The project was designed by Maćków Pracownia Projektowa. The building’s general contractor is Skanska S.A. while Skanska Property Poland is responsible for its commercialization. According to the designers’ concepts, Green2Day will complement the facade around the passage linking Tolpy Park with the nearby river bank of the Odra. Greenery and street furniture will create an atmosphere of a quiet secluded corner, even though it's in close proximity to one of Wroclaw's main roads. This will be beneficial for employees working in both buildings as this will allow them to have the option of working outside.
Green2Day, elegant in its simplicity, will provide employees with interiors of the highest standard that have been developed in accordance with the latest green standards. Its quality will be underpinned by LEED Gold certification. It is scheduled to be completed by Q4 2017.
