CGI buys new building PwC on Brainpark III (Rotterdam)

The German investor Commerz Grundbesitz Investmentsgesellschaft (CGI) has bought the new head office for PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) in Rotterdam for the amount of € 55 mln. This development by William Properties is approx. 22.000 m² and is the first office development to be built on Brainpark III.

Van Gool & Partners advised CGI with the transaction. The initial return on investment, for which the object was bought, is approx. 7%. The building has been especially developed for PricewaterhouseCoopers and wille be delivered mid 2005.

The new building for PwC is the first office development to be realised on Brainpark III. This future office location lies adjacent to the highway A16, just north of the Van Brienenoordbrug. In total approx. 80.000 m² of office space will be developed here. Besides PwC, also engineers Arcadis and insurance company Axa will have offices on Brainpark III. KPMG is also said to have an office here of approx. 25.000 m².
