CBC Banque & Assurance will soon have its new headquarters in Namur and is therefore selling its administrative properties in Brussels.
Construction works started earlier this year in April. The new headquarters in Namur represents a major step forward in the history of the company. As from now on, CBC Banque & Assurance will focus its activities in Wallonia.
The move is expected to take place in the first half of 2018. As soon as the new headquarters is delivered, CBC Banque & Assurance will leave the property located on the Grand Place and move into new headquarters located on the riverside of the Maas River in Namur, in the very heart of the Capital of Wallonia.
About 350 collaborators will change for a new, unique, more efficient and environmentally friendly office.
CBC is therefore selling its iconic properties located in the city center of Brussels. The company mandated real estate specialists CBRE and Knight Frank.
The first property is the current headquarter of CBC on the Grand Place of Brussels. More than 8.000m² of office space are hidden behind the impressive façade of the front door. The property extends from the Grand Place to the Rue du Midi.
CBRE has already identified several development opportunities but the sales process is still ongoing.
Second property is the iconic Treurenberg. This prestigious property of 3.140m² office space is located behind the Cathedral of St. Michael.
The sales process began in September and is currently in its first stage with potential candidate buyers having access to the Complex for a site visit.
Finally, CBC, assisted by its advisors, will evaluate the offers submitted by prospective buyers and decide if one of them is considered acceptable or more acceptable than the others and if they agree to sell.
