BPF Bouwinvest has, on behalf of client BPF Bouw, sold part of its commercial real estate portfolio, the Randstad Portfolio, to DB Real Estate Opportunities IB. It concerns twenty office- and logistic locations, with a total surface of approx. 135,000 m².
Reason for this sale is the strategic re-orienting that has taken place in 2004 inside BPF Bouwinvest. This is the result of the choice of the organisation for realizing namely large-scale, innercity mixed-use projects and the desired allocation of the real estate investments (both inside and outside the country).
Jones Lang LaSalle Capital Markets and De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek are advising BPF Bouwinvest B.V. with this transaction.
The buyer, DB Real Estate Global Opportunities IB, L.P., is a worldwide operating real estate fund, managed by RREEF/DB Real Estate (het Fonds). Het Fonds and the in the Netherlands based private real estate investment organization Lips Capital Group (LCG) form a joint venture for the purchase and management of the 20 buildings. Financier is JP Morgan.
