Bilfinger Berger AG said it will miss its full-year operating profit target of € 115 mln after booking € 50 mln in provisions because of construction delays on a Toledo, Ohio bridge project.
In addition, the Mannheim-based construction firm said its net profit will be in the range of last year´s 50 mln result excluding exceptionals. It said in August it expected to achieve full-year net profit of more than € 62 mln.
Initially, Bilfinger Berger booked € 20 mln in provisions because of delays on the Toledo project.
