Aviva Investors acquires Amsterdam office building (NL)

Aviva Investors has acquired a highly sustainable office building located in the heart of Amsterdam’s central business district, expanding its portfolio in the city. The building, known as Zuiderhof II, offers exceptional sustainability credentials with an Energy Label Rating of A and BREEAM In-Use certification of ‘Excellent’. Heat storage systems help to support sustainable heating and cooling of the building, alongside heat pump and dry coolers for regeneration. It also holds the WELL GOLD building standard, which recognises buildings that deliver spaces enhancing human health and well-being. In all, the building provides 17,600m² of Grade-A office space spread over eight floors, with open and flexible floorplates ranging between 2,000 and 3,400m². Occupiers also benefit from on-site restaurant facilities.
