Alderan acquired MediArena recording studios in Amsterdam (NL)

Alderan acquired on behalf of its open-ended fund, SCPI Comete, the MediArena recording studios located in Amsterdam’s dynamic district of Zuidoost.

In 2010, a television production company had a custom-built asset constructed to meet its specific needs. The current tenant, Banijay Benelux, is part of the French media and entertainment company Banijay.

The asset spans approximately 12,500m² and includes premium recording studios, modern office spaces, and a large underground parking lot. The rental commitment is strong, with a Weighted Average Lease Expiry (WALB) of over 6 years and a Weighted Average Lease Term (WALT) of over 11 years.

The asset is expected to yield around 8% annually. Nova Capital, a manager of real estate investment funds for private investors, presented the asset to Alderan. Retail Capital and Cushman & Wakefield provided commercial advice for the transaction on the seller’s side, while Alderan received advice from APF Inte.
