East Gate Pro Business Park, WING’s latest industrial development project, has reached a new milestone with the delivery of hall A2 in phase two. An additional area of 9,100m2 is now available in the newly completed hall building for production, assembly, fulfilment and warehousing purposes.
After the completion of halls A1 and B1 last year, the East Gate PRO Business Park in the northern Pest region is expanding, and now hall A2 has been completed. Halls constructed in the first phase already have BREEAM Very Good sustainability certifications, and the latest building, which was constructed by Weinberg ’93 Epíto Kft., meets the same requirements.
“Our East Gate, East Gate PRO and Login Business Park industrial developments have exceptional infrastructure and now play a dominant role in the northern region of Budapest. East Gate PRO Business Park is a successful speculative development that meets genuine market needs: the first two halls with a total area of 20,000 square meters have an occupancy rate of 100%, and we have now completed our latest hall, which has an area of nearly 10,000 square meters. It is important for us to include speculative developments in our portfolio in addition to built-to-suit pre-leased developments. This not only allows us to meet unique needs, but also to offer standard expansion solutions and cater to immediate market demand. With hall A2 our goal was the same: we built it flexibly, responding to market needs, and in terms of engineering and architectural design we put special emphasis on cutting edge energy solutions,” said Zsofia Korda, Chief Sales Officer (CSO) of WING Zrt.’s Corporate Sales Relations and Business Development.
The business park has outstanding accessibility: located at the junction of the M0 and M3 motorways, it is only a few minutes from Megyeri Bridge. In the development of the halls, a focus on the unique needs of potential tenants and on complex solutions was a priority. The exceptionally high quality heat insulation of the buildings ensures a minimum indoor temperature of 16 C. Eco-friendly, easy-to-clean building materials with no harmful components were used in the construction, and a special focus was put on energy-efficient solutions. Technical specifications include an ESFR sprinkler system, smart meters and a large car park with a licence plate recognition access control system and electric car chargers.
