Robeco’s acquisition of Transtrend is now confirmed. Transtrend is a managed futures trader in Rotterdam with assets under management of EUR 342 million.
With this acquisition, Robeco will expand its supply of alternative investment products in general, and of single-manager hedge funds in particular. Robeco is taking a minority interest of 49% now, and will acquire a 100% interest within five years’ time. Further details have not been disclosed.
