Panattoni secured €10m from Santander for Maxess development (PL)

Panattoni has recently launched construction work on the main European production plant for Maxcess in Lubowo near Gniezno and has now been awarded bank financing of c. €10m from Santander for this development.

The fact that a global player has located its main European factory in Poland is another optimistic sign that the country is benefiting from Europe’s re-industrialisation. The largest companies are drawn in by the country’s central location, its educated workforce and its business-friendly environment. Financial institutions are also playing a part in the current changes by – among other things – financing the BTS manufacturing plants being developed by Panattoni. We wish to thank Santander for their trust and support for this innovative project since the new production plant will not just be limited to manufacturing products but will also be used for research and development as well as creating new products and services for Maxcess,” comments Karina Trojanska, the Chief Financing & Operating Officer at Panattoni

Panattoni is developing a building of around 13,000m2 that can be extended in the future. As part of the project, Maxcess is planning to further develop its technology with the modernisation of its machinery, equipment, and software.  The new centre is also perfectly aligned with the company’s efforts to make its operations more environmentally friendly. Among other things, Panattoni is to prepare the development for the installation of solar panels and is also to create green areas on the factory grounds. The developer intends to submit the development to be certified under BREEAM for a rating of Excellent.
