Apleona appoints Andreas Neukam as Chief Operating Officer for FM International business unit
Apleona, a European leader in integrated facility management, has announced the appointment of Andreas Neukam as the new Chief Operating Officer (COO) of its FM International business unit, effective 1 April 2025. Neukam succeeds James Thoden van Velzen, who has been with Apleona for several years and will transition to a special advisory role focusing on international business projects.
As COO, Neukam will oversee Apleona’s operations across its 33 national businesses in the EMEA region, encompassing Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. He will report directly to Michael Engel, COO of Apleona Group, and will work closely with Apleona’s regional and country managers. Together, they will focus on further strengthening operational excellence and continuing the growth of Apleona's international business.
James Thoden van Velzen, a long-standing leader within Apleona FM International, has held several key positions, including Regional Head for Northern Europe and COO. He will now serve as an advisor on special projects, offering his expertise to the FM International management team.
