Marriott to open Courtyard hotel in Timisoara (RO)

The international Marriott hotel group is expanding its portfolio with a hotel that will operate under the Courtyard brand and will be positioned near Iulius Town. The hotel is scheduled to open in 2029 and will offer 208 rooms and suites, along with four multipurpose conference rooms.

 

"We are pleased to announce a new collaboration with Pritax Invest SRL to bring three Marriott International hotels to Romania, reflecting our commitment to the country. We are equally happy to announce the debut of the Four Points by Sheraton brand in Romania with a future property in Cluj-Napoca, as well as our first hotels in the tourist cities of Sibiu and Timi?oara. With these new market expansions, we will continue to expand our offerings for tourists. This agreement strengthens the demand we see for international hotel brands in the region, as well as the development of Marriott Bonvoy properties in Romania," said Silvija Lovreta, Vice President Development - Central and South Eastern Europe, Marriott International.
