Logicenters strengthens its presence in Germany through a joint venture with a German family office to build up a logistics portfolio in Germany. The first development of the joint venture is a brownfield development in Mannheim. It aims to build a modern and green logistics warehouse of c. 18,500m2 on a property of c. 28,000m2. It will be located on Friesenheimer Strasse 2-4, which is close to Mannheim’s city centre, with connections to both Frankfurt and South Germany. Mannheim’s City Airport is less than 20 minutes away by car.
Logicenters and evolutiq will act as development and asset managers for the joint venture partners. The joint venture partners focus on further strengthening their footprint in Germany by building up a sustainable logistic portfolio. With this collaboration, Logicenters exemplifies its ongoing efforts to provide top-notch logistics solutions.
The project in Mannheim will be developed in line with the joint venture's ambitious sustainability objectives and is still awaiting a new tenant to be leasing the property.
The facility is expected to be completed in Q1 2025.
