Kajima Europe has sold a 40,000m2 logistics facility in Ridderkerk, near Rotterdam, to MEAG.
Strategically located 15km from the Port of Rotterdam—Europe’s largest seaport—and with direct access to major motorways, the A15 and A16, the site offers unparalleled connectivity to Schiphol Airport, the German border, and Antwerp. The property was fully pre-let on a long lease to a Japanese multi-media company prior to its completion in October 2024.
The development exemplifies Kajima’s commitment to sustainability, built to a BREEAM Excellent standard, EU Taxonomy-aligned, and incorporating on-site solar power generation.

This project is Kajima’s first of three logistics projects across the Netherlands, with developments in Tilburg and Heerlen also, and forms part of the company’s broader expansion across Western Europe. With over two million square metres of logistics space developed and managed across seven countries, Kajima continues to solidify its position as a trusted leader in the sector.
