Jamdac Developments is to develop a new build unit set to be added to Creagh Industrial Park in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. The park is located 30-minute drive from Belfast. Current tenants include SDC Trailers, MAW Engineering, UForm, MMS International and DPD.
The new unit will provide over 5,760m2 of space, with plans for a 4,800m2 unit having been approved for industrial, distribution, or warehouse use. Each of the new units will feature a steel portal frame and double skin insulated cladding, electric roller shutters, and 8m eaves height. Additionally, another new build unit comprising 900m2 of space is set to be completed soon and will be available for occupation next month.
The joint agents CBRE Northern Ireland and Cushman & Wakefield are responsible for letting out these units to potential tenants.
Lisa McAteer, Senior Director at CBRE NI said “Considering the current market, this represents a rare opportunity to lease a new warehouse space. The build on the first smaller unit is well under way with construction to complete shortly, ready for new tenants. With planning permission secured for the larger unit, building work can also commence on it immediately. Industrial parks attract both local and international investment, bringing with them a wealth of potential for business expansion.
Mark Cuskeran, Director, Jamdac Developments said: “We have been developing 13 acres of Creagh Industrial Park since 2017 with over 115,000 sq ft (10,684m2) of industrial space already rented out. These latest additions will significantly boost our offering as we grow to maintain pace with demand for industrial space in this part of Northern Ireland.”
