International Campus invests in Frankfurt conversion project (DE)

International Campus GmbH (IC) has acquired a vacant office building and an adjacent residential property in Frankfurt. The buildings measure a total of more than 10,600m² and will be used for the creation of 144 apartments under brand HVNS (derived from "havens"). With its living concept, HVNS is specifically geared towards professionals. In addition to the fully furnished, modern apartments ranging from 26 to 50m² with kitchen and bathroom, tenants can use the facility's own gym and coworking area. The common areas can be used free of charge by tenants, their friends and acquaintances. Plans have also been made for a bar and a roof terrace to allow for relaxing evenings. In addition, there are some XL apartments available with an average size of 105m².

The seven-storey office building, which is to be converted to residential use, and the adjacent residential property are located at Voltastraße 81 in Bockenheim, one of the most central residential districts in the banking metropolis. The central station and the Central Business District, where many banks, consultancies, insurance companies and international firms are located, are only a few minutes away by tram. HNVS is perfectly located for professionals who are looking for a first or second residence with a short commute to work.

"As part of our growth strategy, we operate very flexibly: from buying a plot of land and subsequently developing an apartment building, to purchasing turnkey properties from other developers or even converting office properties — thanks to our expertise, anything is possible”, said Gerold Springer, Director Acquisition at IC.

The complex, which includes 81 parking spaces, is scheduled for completion in the second half of 2022. The conversion works are due to start in the summer this year.
