IBM choses Business Centre Park View Office Tower for their new premises in Kazakhstan (KZ)

The international corporation IBM has leased office space in the Park View Office Tower in Almaty, Kazakhstan. The company will occupy half of the fifth floor with total area of 416 m². for the forthcoming 5 years.


IBM (The International Business Machines Corporation) is an American multinational technology and consulting corporation, with headquarters in Armonk, New York, United States. IBM manufactures and markets computer hardware and software, and offers infrastructure, hosting and consulting services in areas ranging from mainframe computers to nanotechnology. The company was founded in 1911 as the Computing Tabulating Recording Company (CTR) through a merger of three companies: the Tabulating Machine Company, the International Time Recording Company, and the Computing Scale Company.


Business Centre Park View Office Tower, which lies in the heart of Almaty’s historical city center, is the major project of the Global Development LLP. The offices based at Park View Office Tower are proving to be sought-after by Almaty based firms. Taking into account that IBM is to occupy the fifth floor, Global Development confirmed that the Park View office rental had 3,200 m² of office space to let and is 81% full. The list of other tenants at the business center include Beeline, Kazakhmys, White&Case, DuPont, VISA and Lukoil.
