IBI Lion Socimi acquires Spanish logistics platform for €65

Teckel Gestora, the holding company of the NEINVER Group, through its logistics division, NEINVER Logistics, has secured the sale of a logistics platform to IBI Lion Socimi for €65m. The property, strategically located in Spain in the Valencian town of Llíria and just 47 km from the Port of Valencia, features one single warehouse with a GLA of 60,000m². NEINVER Logistics developed every aspect of this turnkey project in 2019 for Conforama, a company dedicated to the sale of household furniture and which currently occupies the entire platform.

Daniel Losantos, NEINVER CEO commented: “We are delighted to have successfully closed this deal with IBI Lion Socimi. This sale underlines our ability to partner with major players at a time when market conditions are just right for capital rotation and diversification, and is also fully aligned with the Group's asset rotation strategy.”

This transaction has benefited from the experience of the Group, which has been operating in the Spanish logistics asset development market for more than 50 years, developing more than two million square metres of logistics assets and which in 2018 secured a major transaction by selling 500,000 sqm of logistics assets.

Rafael Goldfeld, IBI Lion Socimi S.A Co CEO, said: “The fruitful completion of this deal with NEINVER Logistics and our financing partner ING, marks an additional step in our expanding investment portfolio in the Spanish market. This transaction is a prime example of our investment strategy – investing in strategically located assets in main centers of commercial and logistic activity.”

Ohad Kleiner, IBI Lion Socimi S.A Co, CEO, added: "We foresee substantial upside in the Valencia logistic market which is expanding in rapid pace coinciding with the port of Valencia leading and growing share of incoming goods to Spain. We will continue to strive to offer our investors quality assets with a long-term view of the market”.
