Hilton expands to Bosnia & Herzegovina

Hilton expands to Bosnia & Herzegovina

Hilton has signed a franchise agreement with Intersped d.o.o. Sarajevo to open Hotel Neretva Mostar, Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton Sarajevo City Centre. Marking a country-first for Hilton in Bosnia & Herzegovina, the two hotels will be situated in prime central locations in Mostar and Sarajevo, with both hotels set to open by 2026.

The 98-guest room Hampton by Hilton Sarajevo City Centre will exhibit sleek and modern designs, with all the usual Hampton by Hilton social spaces guests know and love, including a reception hub and bar. Guests can enjoy magnificent views of the city from the rooftop outdoor terrace and meeting room pods, or alternatively take advantage of the fitness facilities. The hotel is strategically located in the city centre of Sarajevo on the prominent Maršala Tita Street and close to the famous old town with its energetic bazaar and numerous historical monuments.

Hotel Neretva Mostar, Tapestry Collection by Hilton will be located at Lacina 1, Mostar. Hampton by Hilton Sarajevo City Centre will be located at 36, 38, 40 Maršala Tita Street, Sarajevo, a 25-minute drive from Sarajevo International Airport.

Simon Vincent, executive vice president and president, EMEA, Hilton, said: “We’re thrilled to partner with Intersped d.o.o. Sarajevo to announce Hilton’s first two hotels in Bosnia and Herzegovina under our Tapestry Collection by Hilton and Hampton by Hilton brands. From its stunning landscapes to its bustling cities, Bosnia and Herzegovina offers a diverse blend of history, culture and nature, making it an extremely attractive tourist destination. This market entry is a significant milestone and highlights our continued expansion into exciting destinations.”

Enisa Tukic, CEO of Intersped d.o.o. Sarajevo said: "We’re excited to join forces with Hilton with the company´s first two hotel signings in Bosnia & Herzegovina. With both Hotel Neretva Mostar, Tapestry Collection by Hilton, and Hampton by Hilton Sarajevo City Centre offering guests modern accommodation in two major cities in the country, we are confident the hotels will attract a large number of visitors, who are looking to take in some of the country´s spectacular sights or seeking high quality accommodation options for a business trip."
