HBB will open parts of the business district at Husemannplatz n downtown Bochum this year. Three multi-story buildings will house a wide range of uses. The rental space amounts to 37,500m2 of which c. 21,000 m² is office space, c. 8,000 m² is retail, service and restaurant space, as well as c. 6,500 m² of space for the hotel and c. 2,000 m² for a planned fitness studio, plus a two-story underground parking garage.
The tenants in the first two building sections will be able to open or move into their new offices before the end of this year. The third section will be completed by the middle of next year.
The business district designed by architectural firm RKW will be known as Husemann Karree and is on track to become the city’s new flagship, inviting employees, visitors and customers to work and linger.
