Gran Melia, the luxury brand by Melia Hotels International, is finalising all the details of its latest project in Barcelona, which will be ready to open in early 2024.
With this latest venture, Melia aims to restore the glory of the former Rey Juan Carlos I Hotel, and gardens, converting them into an oasis of calm and urban luxury in the upper part of Avinguda Diagonal. After a comprehensive refurbishment, the hotel will open its doors again in January 2024 to offer 391 rooms and suites, along with a range of services and facilities, including 18 indoor and outdoor event spaces, various pools and wellness experiences. The company has revealed its partnerships with ERRE & Urrechu and a jazz club by Erik Lorincz.
