Gouden Hart shopping centre open for business (NL)

Gouden Hart shopping centre in the Gouden Buurten of Berkel and Rodenrijs has officially opened its doors on 7 November 2015 by the mayor of Lansingerland, Mr. van de Stadt. The shopping centre makes up the centrepiece of the Gouden Buurten residential neighbourhood, which comprises a total of 2,700 homes.

 

The new shopping centre takes up an area of approximately 4,500 m², having just secured a round of lettings over the most recent period. The centre is approximately 80% leased with tenants including Jumbo, Flowers Den Toom, Döner Kebab, laundry and convenience shop De Koperwiek, Baker Ammerlaan, hairdresser Brainwash, Ciocco Gelato, Italian restaurant Pasto and a Verhage franchise. In addition to the wide range of retail offerings, the mall will also feature a health centre of more than 1,200 m². Above the shops, the buildings in the Gouden Hart feature owner-occupied and private rental apartments.

 

The project is a joint development of the Gouden Hart CV, a collaboration of Amvest and Kavel Vastgoed.

 

The opening ceremony was organized by WPM Marketing & Communication on the WestPolderplein, WPM Retail is in charge of leasing and rental.
