Donaldsons has been appointed as property managers of the entire Retail Plus Property Trust portfolio, a Jersey based trust, managed by Rockspring PIM Ltd and Hunter Property Fund Management.
Worth in excess of £125 million, the retail portfolio is made up of approximately 50 properties spread across the UK with over 25% of the sites in Scotland and will be managed from the London and Glasgow offices of Donaldsons.
Graeme Clark, partner and head of Retail Asset Management for Donaldsons in Scotland, explained: "This is a massive win for Donaldsons and underlines our position as market leaders in shopping centre and retail property management. During an average year we collect £500 million from over 6,000 tenants illustrating the enomity of the work we carry out."
