Recognising the growing importance of tourism â" and especially the hotel sector â" within the Portuguese economy, global real estate consultant Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Baker (C&W/H&B) announced today that they are to provide Hotel Advisory Services in Portugal.
The Hotel Advisory Services Department will provide a comprehensive range of services focusing on hotel investment and advisory services, including valuation and appraisal, investment and transaction services, operator selection and strategic advice and consultancy.
Jorge Catarino has been appointed as the Head of Hotel Advisory Services in Portugal. Jorge Catarino will work closely with Cushman & Wakefield Healey & Bakerâs Hotel Advisory Group, created in 1996 and based in London.
Until recently, 39 year-old Jorge Catarino worked as Hotel Development Director at Amorim Turismo, having previously worked for Deloitte Consulting as Competitive Strategy Director, specializing in the assessment of market opportunities and economic and financial feasibility of hotel and resort schemes.
