CoreNet Global looks at ‘The Bigger Picture’

Geopolitics, economics and the environment are three leading factors that impact the Corporate Real Estate (CRE) market, influencing occupier behaviour and the productivity and efficiency of major European businesses.

 

Returning to the Hotel Okura, Amsterdam in September 2016, the CoreNet Global 2016 Summit – EMEA (14-16 September, Amsterdam) will address how the CRE profession can react to geopolitical events, changes within the economy and new innovations in the environmental sector to become more agile and resilient in this ever more competitive market.

 

Through a series of interactive seminars, engaging keynote presentations, networking sessions and site tours, the 500+ delegates to the CoreNet Global EMEA Summit will be presented with a plethora of new techniques to enhance the effectiveness of their businesses.

 

The event will be opened by Mujtaba Rahman of the Eurasia Group, who will explore the current political and economic state of the EMEA region and what the milestone events of 2016 mean for the business landscape.

 

During the three-day event, delegates will be invited to attend sessions hosted by leading CRE professionals, who will impart their knowledge and experience across a range of sectors including technological innovation, building resiliency, employee security and sustainability strategy.

 

Highlights of the CoreNet Global EMEA Summit will include a practical session on measuring knowledge worker productivity, advice on surviving a terror attack, and updates on flexible workers and workspace.

 

Also on the programme is a look inside one of the most innovative and sustainable office buildings in the world – The Edge in Amsterdam, designed by PLP Architecture for OVG Real Estate. Showcasing the very latest in technological development, this session hosted by CBRE will examine how the advanced data analytics system used by The Edge enables real time interactive control and dashboard monitoring of every facet of the building.

 

Bringing the three-day event to a close will be writer, businessman and futurologist Mark Stevenson, whose keynote address will consider the importance of agility and disruption within European business.
