Cabot Properties has acquired a logistics property of some 10,400m2 in Hassfurt near Wurzburg in Lower Franconia from Blackstone. The property at Walter-Tron-Strasse 5 was built in 2007 and is located on a plot of some 22,100m2 in an established commercial area. Colliers brokered the transaction on behalf of the seller.
At the time of sale, the logistics property is fully let to the e-commerce service provider PVS Europe. The property is located close to the A7 and A70 motorways.
Christian Kah, Head of Industrial & Logistics at Colliers Munich, said: "The transaction shows that small-cap investments are currently in demand as they offer exciting opportunities and often stable tenant structures. The logistics property in Hassfurt, for example, is used as a retail channel and PVS Europe operates here as a service provider for the online retail business of Hugo Boss, among others."
The transaction partners have agreed not to disclose the contents of the contract and the purchase price.
