Brabantstad seeks foreign investors (NL)

Breda, Eindhoven, Helmond, Den Bosch and Tilburg, the five largest cities of the Netherlands’ southern province Brabant and jointly referred to as ‘Brabantstad’, will actively seek foreign investors. The joint campaign consists of several events and meetings, such as seminars for potential investors and an ambassador program. In addition, Brabantstad will develop an English brochure and launch a new website: www.brabantstad.com.

Deputy Onno Hoes recently gave the starting signal of the promotional campaign, presenting Brabantstad as a region profiting from a highly educated work force, a focus on creativity and innovation, a well-balanced division of industrial and recreational areas and good accessibility and infrastructure. Furthermore, the region is presented as an attractive location according to West-European standards.

Approximately 1,000 foreign companies are located in the province of Brabant today, directly providing about 75,000 jobs. According to Brabantstad, foreign investors are a significant impetus for the Brabant economy.
