BPF withdraws from Zakencentrum WTC development in Almere (NL)

BPF Bouwinvest has withdrawn from the development and realization of the central part of Zakencentrum WTC (Business Center WTC) in Almere, where about 100,000 m² of office space is planned. BPF has said to see no interesting investment possibilities in the project at short term. Previously, NS Real Estate has also withdrawn from the project. The municipality of Almere has now closed a joint agreement with the other two parties involved: Bouwfonds Property Development and Van Wijnen.

For the development of Zakencentrum WTC, that is divided in three parcels, formerly two syndicates where involved. Bouwfonds and BPF Bouwinvest would develop about two third of the volume, the rest would be developed by the Van Wijnen
