Biggest direct investment in French history ever (FR)

With the acquisition of the prestigious property complex Crystal Park in Neuilly-sur-Seine, one of the most representative Paris suburbs, ATIS REAL Auguste-Thouard has realized the biggest direct investment in the French history. An amount of approximately € 450 million was involved in this transaction.

The new owner of the property is KanAm Grund Kapitalanlagegesellschaft mbH, based in Frankfurt am Main, that acquired the property from GCI for its open end fund KanAm Grundinvest Fonds.

The prestigious office building is situated on Boulevard Victor Hugo 62/64. The complex consists of two buildings and is surrounded by a 3 hectares park, which is therewith Paris’ biggest private park. In addition two inner gardens offer a pleasant working environment. The office complex consists of 45,000 m² NLA, 32,900 m² of which are office space, restaurants, a cafetaria and conference rooms, and a garage with more than 700 parking places.

The main tenant of the fully let complex is the renowned consultancy agency PricewaterhouseCoopers, letting approximately 30,000 m². Other future tenants are International Flavours & Fragrances (IFF) and the American biotech company AMGEN.

Timo Tschammler, consultant international investments at ATIS REAL Auguste-Thouard in Paris and responsible for German investors in France, commented: “We are very pleased to have attributed to this huge investment with our succesfull rental agreement. And that the transaction was completed in only five weeks time.”
