GARBE Industrial Real Estate Poland has joined forces with the WOOD & Company Logistics Sub-Fund to develop GARBE Park Gliwice, a state-of-the-art industrial project set to deliver 75,000 m² of sustainable logistics space in southern Poland. Backed by a €50m investment, the scheme will be built to BREEAM Excellent certification standards, reflecting growing demand for ESG-compliant industrial infrastructure.
Strategically located in the Silesian region along the A4 motorway, the site will benefit from direct access to one of Europe’s most critical transport corridors. Its connection to an existing retail park enhances both tenant synergy and last-mile logistics potential. As supply chains continue to realign amid geopolitical uncertainties, Poland's industrial nodes are becoming prime targets for long-term capital and tenant demand.
“Partnering with WOOD & Company, a respected investor with institutional expertise, regional know-how and a reliable financing platform, ensures strategic alignment and strengthens the foundation for successful project delivery,”said Adrian Biesaga, Co-Managing Director at GARBE Industrial Real Estate Poland.
The joint venture marks a significant move into the Polish industrial market for WOOD & Company, which manages a €1.28bn real estate portfolio across Prague, Bratislava and Warsaw. With logistics exposure increasingly viewed as a hedge against volatility, institutional investors are turning to assets with secure fundamentals, scale and ESG credentials.
For developers, the Gliwice project also signals a shift toward value-added locations outside Warsaw, with strong workforce access and industrial heritage offering tenants long-term operational stability. As Poland maintains its trajectory as one of Europe’s fastest-growing economies, demand for modern industrial stock continues to outpace supply.
“We are excited to partner with a respected developer who has delivered hundreds of industrial projects across Europe over the past 30 years. This is a top-tier project that aligns perfectly with our strategy and offers strong return potential for our investors,” added Jan Jandík, Investment Manager at WOOD & Company.
