Azora’s Board of Directors has appointed Javier Rodríguez-Heredia as Managing Partner of Azora, a prominent international alternative investment management platform. Having joined Azora in 2007, Javier previously led the firm’s Real Estate division, overseeing its €10bn Living and Commercial Real Estate strategies. He will now be heading the newly established Management Board, which serves as the company's executive body.
The Azora Management Committee includes fellow partners Javier Arús (Hospitality), Cristina García-Peri (Clients and Corporate Development), Fernando Pérez-Hickman (US business), Javier Picón (now heading Real Estate), Santiago Olivares (Infrastructure and Energy), and Mar González (CFO/COO).
Azora’s leadership team also comprises a Partners’ Committee, responsible for defining the firm’s strategic direction, which includes the Management Board alongside José Alonso, Gonzalo García Lago, Carlos Fernández de Araoz, and Alfonso Aramendía.
Azora founders, Concha Osácar and Fernando Gumuzio, will continue to serve as non-executive chairmen while remaining active members of the Board of Directors and the Investment Committee.
Javier Rodríguez-Heredia has been instrumental in Azora’s success for nearly two decades, contributing to the expansion of its real estate and energy investments before leading the entire Real Estate practice, playing a crucial role in the firm’s substantial growth.
